THE CHALLENGE:

Tasman Logistics had to handle approximately 400 x 40Ft containers of solar equipment arriving from our customers supplier for delivery to a rural site for assembly. The initial plan was to deliver all containers as FCL, however due to project changes, all freight was to be unpacked at Tasman Logistics Brooklyn Freight terminal.

SOLUTION:

Over a period of 4 months with 100 containers arriving per month, Tasman successfully delivered all items as required by the site with the only delays being weather. All containers unpacked in a timely manner, inventory checked off and managed over the term of the project and delivery to site as required by the site managers.
